SHOES CARE TIPS

DEAR DANCERS

In order to let you fully benefit from our products, we have prepared for you a few tips on how to keep your shoes in good shape for a long time.

As you know, dance shoes are subjected to tremendous stresses during every training and competition. A proper footwork influences the outer layer of the dance shoes   in a way that is not typical in case of any other shoes.

All our products are made of high-quality
materials that make
the shoes light,
soft and comfortable.

HOW TO PROTECT A PATENT LEATHER

In order to preserve their subtlety and beauty you should
properly protect the patent leather. We recommend using
an oil product, like a shoe silicone or a transparent wax.
The interior part of a shoe is the most vulnerable to damage,
therefore this is where you should apply the shoe care product.

HOW TO CARE FOR GENUINE LEATHER

This type of leather is the most durable and at the same time easiest to keep. It’s best to use a shoe polish with oils, which shall nourish the leather, make it elastic and give it a nice LOOK.

HOW TO CARE FOR VELOUR

Velour is one of the strongest material.
At the same time velour is absorbing the dust.
If You want to keep your shoes in good shape you
have to remember these simple rules:
– Avoid too much water.
– You can use brush (made of rubber) to clean the layer.
– After training you can clean up your shoes using a little wet cloth.

HOW TO CARE FOR SATIN

Unfortunately satin is a fabric with very little resistance to dirt. If you notice that your shoes are no longer elegant because of dirt, you can try removing it on several ways.

First, try cleaning them with a white rubber. It’s the least invasive method. If this doesn’t work, try using a sponge with water and natural soap. Unfortunately. this treatment might make the satin less glittery. Another popular procedure is colouring shoes with different dyes. For example using tea to get a nude shade. However there’s no guarantee of success as the effects depend on your competence.

HOW TO CARE FOR SOLE

The sole of a woman’s and man’s shoe is also made of high-quality leather. Well known brushing is an elementary form of care. Of course it isn’t the only method.

From time to time you should apply an oil or a cream. Contrary to what you might think, it doesn’t need to be a special product. Everyone has a moisturizing cream or lotion at home that can be applied to a sole. Naturally, you shouldn’t be doing this just before dancing! Prepare your shoes the day before.

Carefully remove the dirt and sand from the sole using a scrub and then apply the cream. Spread the product by rubbing one sole against the other.

Let the shoes dry like this. Next day your shoe sole will be like new.

DON’T EVER SOAK YOUR SOLE WITH WATER!

DRY YOUR SHOES AFTER USING THEM

Each time after dancing let your shoes dry.
Don’t put them directly into a bag.
It’s best to leave them outside the bag or open it.
